Epinephrine Injection Pen Refills

Epinephrine injection pens are needed for individuals with life-threatening allergic reactions. When given at the first sign of an allergic reaction or exposure to a potential allergen, administering epinephrine can stop a reaction. Epi-Pen and AuviQ are brand names you will commonly hear during conversations regarding epinephrine injections.

You should carry an epinephrine injection pen if you’ve ever suffered a severe allergic reaction to foods or insect stings. Symptoms of an anaphylactic reaction include:

  • Loss of consciousness
  • A drop in blood pressure
  • Severe shortness of breath
  • Skin rash
  • Lightheadedness or fainting
  • Rapid, weak pulse
  • Nausea and vomiting
