Please see our list of conditions for an idea of what we are able to treat. Some common problems that cannot be treated via telemedicine are acute chest pain, acute abdominal pain, acute traumatic injuries to the head neck or torso, symptoms concerning for a stroke, anaphylactic reaction or any life-threatening emergency.
If you feel you are experiencing a medical emergency including but not limited to chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, or an acute traumatic injury you should call 911 or go to your local emergency department.
Our virtual visits take place over a secure and HIPPA compliant software platform. Our medical records are secured via the same HIPPA compliant medical record. Additionally, our providers are rigorously trained to protect your privacy.
All providers are board-certified and state-licensed in Primary Care, Urgent Care Medicine or Emergency Medicine. These providers were selected specifically for their dedication to a more patient-centered approach and personal touch that is missing from so much of modern medicine. To become an official EmergentNow Provider, they go through our credentialing process and are thoroughly trained on how to provide the best virtual care experience.
You can view our providers and their biographies on the EmergentNow website
We have a team of live virtual assistants coupled with ancillary staff to assist any patient who is having difficulty logging in to see the provider. We will call you and go over the process step-by-step to ensure that you are connected to the provider for your visit. In the event we are unable to get you logged on to eClinical Works for the visit, a provider may be able to do an audio call.
